How It Triggers
The sensor listens rather than watching, so talking or a clap near the prop is enough to start it. Motion, sound and the eyes all come on together, then it settles again until the next group walks up.
Power and Placement
It runs on a plug-in adapter rather than batteries, and the adapter is UL listed. Used outdoors, the plug end needs a safe, dry outlet. Put the prop itself on a flat, smooth surface, which the instructions note gives the best crawling motion and less wear on the mechanism.
Where It Works
Hallways, doorways, porch approaches and the strip of lawn beside a path all suit it, since the scare depends on people passing close to floor level. It pairs with other floor-level props for a graveyard scene rather than standing alone as a centerpiece.
