Talk Mode and Sing Mode
The control panel on the bottom switches between the two. Talk mode runs spoken lines and jokes. Sing mode plays a medley of Halloween songs. The volume knob sits on the same panel, so a corner of a living room and an open porch can both be set to a sensible level.
Power
It runs on 3 AA batteries, which are not included, or on a USB-C power adapter sold separately. Battery power keeps placement free of an outlet. The adapter suits a spot where it will run all evening.
Where to Put It
At 12 inches it sits on a porch step, a mantel, a dining table or an entryway console without taking over the surface. It works for Halloween parties, trick-or-treat greetings and fall displays that run through Thanksgiving.
