This fairy house-building kit combines natural materials and DIY building fun so you and your child (or an older child on their own) can create a one-of-a-kind house fit for fairies! Feel free to embellish and incorporate your own ideas and natural, found objects. This is an excellent craft project for an older child that can be returned to again and again as the seasons change. A beautiful addition to a nature table; children can add found bits of nature to the fairy's home. It makes a magical invitation to play, inspiring hours of creative play.

Note that the structure itself, once assembled, is quite sturdy and can be used and re-used. The hand-crafted accessories, however, are often quite fragile and short-lived, as they are made of bark, pine cones, moss and other natural elements. Luckily, it's easy enough (and fun!) to make more, and many a pinecone and acorn have come to life in a child's hands to inhabit these magical homes!  Build a magical world with our toy fairy house kits—a creative, hands-on activity that invites children to craft enchanting woodland homes using natural materials.
